Sunday Jan 17- Wrapped up our visit to Nanny and Papa at the Old Spaghetti Factory. It was a great visit and a wonderful meal. Mr E decided to get sick Sunday so it made for a long drive home.
Monday Jan 18th- so I broke my toe and instead of hitting the gym for run, I ran over to Costco. It was pouring rain when I came out.

Tuesday January 19th- More rain.

Wednesday January 20th- Kids plus one and I heading to Baskin Robbins. Little Miss A is loving her after school science camp.

Thursday January 21- We have been having some serious storms. Thursday night we even had a Tornado warning. In Phoenix?! I looked through the house and could not find a good place to hide, even my closets have windows. Finally I settled on the pantry.

Friday January 22- When I stopped to get some coffee this morning Mr E told me he needed a Hot Chocolate. He's been sick and I had a lot of cleaning to do so I let him play on PBS kids all morning. He is soo like his Dad.

Saturday January 23- A Saturday with Julie! We had breakfast at La Grande Orange and the hit Ikea. That night we went to see Leap Year. We had the theater all to ourselves, so naturally there was a great deal of commentary. It was so wonderful to have her visit.
With it being Mr E's birthday on Monday and us traveling to Legoland on Saturday I took a lot of photos this week. Here are a few.Mr. E was so excited about his birthday that he just wouldn't slow down long enough for his nap. The nap found him on the way home from Target. I love the watch in the photo. My grandmother gave me the Mickey Mouse watch when I was small. It doesn't work, but that doesn't bother Mr E since he can't tell time.

I am not sure if she was really sick, or if she was was just tired from all the birthday festivities the night before, but little Miss A missed school on Tuesday. Mojo was more than happy to keep her company as she read Percy Jackson and napped.

Saturday we went to Legoland. I have a billion photos from the day. I picked this one because there are never any photos of me on this blog. Check out the Lego Eiffel tower behind me. We had a great visit with my mother in-law and her husband. Legoland was a lot of fun. At the top of the Dragon roller coaster you can see the Pacific Ocean. I just love the ocean. It's probably so magical for me because I come from a land locked state, Colorado where people fight over water. The rides at Legoland are perfect for my two smaller ones. I highly recommend a visit.
One of my resolutions for this year is to take a photo everyday. The way I have my album set up there's room for a couple extra each week. Once a week I am going to post the photos from the previous week. Every week I sit day and do the journaling for the photos and I go ahead and order them to Costco. I am using the Project Life kit from Becky Higgins. I would have preferred to do this digitally, but it wasn't something being offered at the time. At least with the actual scrapbook I'll have the journaling in my actual messy handwriting. I decided to do this project so that I could capture our actual life, not just when it's a holiday or when the kids are smiling cute. It seems like the days are slipping by and I want to have a record of them.

January 1st- We had our super fun neighbors over and stayed up until 330 in the morning playing Band Hero. The rest of New Years day was kind of a waste, but we had a lot of fun.

January 2nd- UGH! The Budget. Mr L and I are working on keeping up with our Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University. I am the free spirit and this monthly task is my least favorite.

January 3rd- We took Mr L to the airport so he could return to his training in Oklahoma. I will be very glad when this separation is over. On a side not, he is wearing the bronco jersey I got him for Christmas. Too bad the team or rather the coaching did so poorly this year.
So, I have realized that this is actually going to have to be 3 posts. Wish I knew how to add more than the few photos at a time.

January 4th- Mr. E playing with his sisters Star Wars ship. Note the Wiimote in the background. The kids play the new Mario Bros on the Wii and play with their new toys from Christmas. It's nice having them so occupied, but I miss living somewhere where they were safe riding their bike or had room for the trampoline.

January 5th- The kids started watching some of the movies they got for Christmas. Horton Hears a Who is a big hit at our house.

January 6th- We've joke that since we got her our little Mojo isn't much of a dog. She just lays around all the time. Older Miss A has finally found a few games she likes.

January 6th- Maybe I was just blue that Mr L has left to go back to training or I'm a big pushover, but after school I took the kids and Miss A's friend Mr J out for Ice Cream. Baskin Robbins has an inside out Oreo flavor that the two littler ones love. I'll stick with my stand by Peanut Butter in Chocolate.
